ABOUT

Who is Vegans of Mornington Peninsula?

My name is Georgia, and I have been vegan for over two years now, I made the decision to become vegan after watching a documentary on Netflix called 'What The Health' and then I made the transition overnight.

The decision making was easy, the facts were there in my face and presented unshakeable truths, but the food was what kept tripping me up.

My saviour was cafes, places that catered for vegans. I was lucky enough to know of a few options near my home and work, but every time I was away from my safe locals, I was madly googling, only to find not much at all.
I was craving some local knowledge, someone who had been to these places and had really tasted the vegan options and confirmed that they were there!

So there I was, trying to find a website that didn't exist...I couldn't sit by and wait for someone else (I don't like waiting), because who knew when that would be!

I am only one person, I would love if others were able to point me in the direction of vegan menus that they know of in their local areas - please contact me!
If you see me out and about, please stop and chat! I love making new friends <3

Show kindness, be vegan and act with compassion xx.
